Is there a quick way to record salads on your meal tracker?

I've only been on MFP for a week and I was wondering if there is an easy way to add salads (or other meals for that matter) that I haven't discovered.

Right now if I have a salad, I enter the greens on one line...then add tomatoes...then each additional ingredient as I go. Same for my home made sandwiches and dinners. Is there anyway to add all the ingredients at once?

Thanks!

Yes...after you enter the foods in that you used for your salad or whatever, click below those ingredients on "remember meal."
  • What I usually do, if it's basically the same salad or sandwich everytime, I save the meal after I have entered it and give it a name that I use to enter it the next time.
  • There is a food saved that is called Salad-Mixed Vegtables. I have a pretty big salad for lunch so I always add 3.5 servings of that for 87 calories and then add the dressing and turkey breast seperately. In my opinion, as long as you're not adding cheese, beans, bacon, crutons or more than a couple olives, then it's close enough. Most of the ingrediants I put in my salad are all negative calorie foods such as: mushrooms, bell peppers, jalepenos, cucumber, cabbage, pepperchinis, and sprouts and spinach.
