Gym routines?

I'm looking for gym routines, (not just weight lifting), to help lose weight, increase stamina, tone etc.
I understand how to use gym equipment but I've really struggled to find helpful advise on what sort of routine or timings are best for each one? Is it best to start with just one thing or multiple things - things being a treadmill or a rower ha!
Any advice would be appreciated!

Hi AshGMac! Have you ever tried classes? I love kickboxing or zumba, and also love doing the Leslie Sansone DVDs when I'm at home and dont' feel like going out. They are great calories burners! You can surely find the first two kinds of classes at the gym as well0

I hadn't even thought about that! I'll have a nosey what they do now, I'm sure it will be a lot more fun than just pacing a treadmill!
