New here, not to dieting!

Just joined MFP, and love the tools here. I have started a program through a weight loss clinic and being monitored weekly. In my first week, I have lost 8.5 pounds! Woo Hoo! I know that this loss will taper down, but it is a great start. The program they have me on is similar to Atkins. High Protein, and low carbs at 1000 calories. This week they upped the calories to 1100 and increased carb intake.
I am 61 years young from the Boston, MA area. I work full time and also have a part time job, so I am very busy, and "Planning" is difficult, but doable. I am hoping as I start losing the weight, I will have less difficulty with exercising. I have arthritis in both knees, one had been replaced 5 years ago but taking a beating from favoring it due to my other knee!
Anyways, that's my story, and I am sticking to it. Looking forward to making friends here during this journey!
