Pain makes it hard to exercise some days. Does anyone else have this issue...I am counting calories and eating healthy also.

I have fibro, degenerative discs in neck and low back, bad knees, arthritis all over. I hear ya!!! try water aerobics or swimming, as you feel ok doing those, slowly move up. Yes, there are days I'm barely walking, usually from knee pain, had surgery and was doing great, then I think I injured it again, not even 12 weeks after surgery!!! I can usually do the strength machines with care, a cyber arc is awesome! It's basically no impact at all. A stationary or recumbent bike is great as well. What kind of pain issues do you have? Friend me if you'd like.

I had a neck injury that left me with chronic pain there and with nerve pain down my arm and face. I found that getting active helped a lot. Not with the pain, but it gives me more of a sense of control over my body. I now feel like it's me in charge, not the pain. I still have to listen to the pain, and deal with the limitations that it gives me, but now when I finish a workout, I feel strong and powerful. That is a feeling that is priceless when every day means pain.

I started walking, and getting back into swimming. I also do water aerobics, and (safe for me) weights, along with low impact stuff like the elliptical and bike. Find what you enjoy and can do, start slow and listen to your body. :)
