Jillian's 30 Day Shred Claim

Okay, I am just (re)starting the 30 Day Shred and today I happened to pick up something she says in the Level 1 workout. She claims that 20 minutes of her interval-training technique is going to work just as well as putting hours in at the gym. There's no way that is accurate.... right?

It depends what your doing at the gym and how motivated you are to do the workout dvd without breaks I guess.0

I did that video a few years ago and don't remember the exercises, but maybe because you're activating multiple muscle groups at once instead one at a time you're saving time overall?0

I don't know much about her programs, but I do know a lot of people waste a lot of time at the gym and don't really push themselves even when they are working. So if her program is intense enough and you put the effort it, sure, I can believe that.0
