    • Eat less, move more.
    • Set your parameters in MFP and eat to that target
    • Get a food scale, weigh all your solid foods. Measure liquids as accurately as possible.
    • Use the most accurate entries in the MFP database you can locate, add your own as needed.
    • Be realistic about your activity level, don't overestimate your burns.
    • Eat back about 1/2 of the calories from exercise that you log.

Pre-prepare all meals in advance for the week where possible. That makes it easier to know in advance what you are eating and makes logging easier.

Get into an exercise routine. Do strength training to build muscle, which helps burn. And some cardio. Getting into the routine is the hardest part. Eat healthier. Layboff the surgary stuff and processed foods. And make one little change at a time. It makes it easier to make that complete lifestyle change. I am down 20 lbs in 20 weeks. It was rough to get started but it is all routine now.

Eat less, move more and don't set your goal too aggressively.

Eat right, exercise and get enough sleep.

Most of us struggle. Many succeed. :)
