Fresh cabbage, sliced baby carrots, 2 handfuls of 50/50 spinach/greens, 2 handfuls of sweet cherry tomatoes (halved), and 3 cut up Oscar meyer wieners.
Simmer (covered) with half a cup of water and 1 tablespoon of butter for 30 to 40 minutes (until carrots are tender).
Yummy, and less than 500 calories...:)

Replace the hot dogs and butter with bacon lardons, once the bacon renders cook the vegetation in the bacon grease. Would be a vast improvement and might be lower calories than the hot dogs.0

I have also made this with a piece of tilapia & a crab cake instead of the hotdogs.
Next time I'm going to try it with chicken tenderloins.0 -
I wish I were an Oscar Meyer weiner....
I'd need herbs, spices, and agree that bacon or ham would make a good sub for the weiners.
