Okay so about a month ago i was 123 pounds and now im 130 pounds but my mesaurements are the same. I ve been eating a bit more than usual (went from 1500 to about 1800) but i dont feel like i gained fat since i measure the same. When it comes to exercise i ve been doing pretty much the same thing ,mainly strenght training(body weight and dumbells) and swimming since its summer. Why am i gaining weight but my phsique looks pretty much the same?

If you've gained 7lbs of muscle, it might have been added in places you aren't measuring. Calves, forearm, shoulders... 7 lbs of muscle on a woman might not add a lot of bulk, if any. So it might just be hard to quantify through measuring.

I am experiencing this too I have gained about 8lb in 3 months and have been exercising a lot more sometimes up to 18 classes a week yet my clothes still fit etc it is frustrating as the intention of exercising more was to lose weight

No one gains 7 lbs of muscle in one month.
