Hey all,
I posted a few days ago when I first started, but doing again! I'm 26 and live in Charleston, SC. I recently decided i want to lose 35-40 lbs (no particular time frame, just as it happens with my hard work) Actual goal is 10lbs by my friends wedding on October 10th
I have Hashimoto's Disease and am currently on armour thyroid for treatment. Any and all assistance welcome!!

Here is a link to the Thyroid group - many other members here with hypothyroidism and/or Hashimoto's specifically:

You have plenty of time to hit that goal, just make small sustainable changes, make small goals and hit them - then set new goals.
Be active with others on the site - we are all here to help and can steer away from all the misinformation out there.
With Hashimoto's you may find it a bit more challenging to lose; however the basic rules of CICO apply. If you need motivation/inspiration Jillian Michaels has Hashimoto's as well, so you're in good company

Thanks!I just joined the thyroid group. I had an old account here but it seems I deleted it..ooops!
I have noticed from when I did crossfit I do lose slower, and usually accept it (though it has its frustrating moments). Thanks again!0
