New and motivated to lose

I am 36, single mom and I have got to get into the kind of shape that is going to allow me to be the best mom in the world. End goal is to lose at least half my weight from my start. I've got the diet part down. Just trying to get moving a little more. I'm trying, and I'm losing, but I've never been very physically active. And it's hard to learn that now.

    I'm 47, have a ton of weight to lose, and do not like exercising. I'm concentrating on getting my diet under control right now. I would also love to have some friends to share the journey with.
