I know it will be different for all people, but is there any general guideline to how long it takes to lose 1 body fat %?
How quickly can one plan to lose say 8% body fat with cardio and stregth traning?

Find your LBM via a DEXA scan. - Cost - $100
Once you have your LBM and the amount of fat, then use your calorie deficit.
IE standard 1 lb a week. I am 128 LBM, 29 LB of fat = 157 lb.
29/157 - 28/156 (optimal) = Around 0.5% per week, OPTIMALLY.
Again this all depends on your body weight.0 -
Way too many factors, but, the more overweight you are, the faster it can be accomplished.
Guys can often go from 18% to 10 % at a rate of about .5% a week. I'm not sure if it would be the same for a female going from ~26% to ~18%. Just plan on it taking between 2 and 4 months with proper training and diet. Perhaps longer if you do silly things. Thats my opinion.0
