    Good morning all,
    Sorry I was MIA yesterday, My grandfather passed away Wednesday night and spent the whol day with mom and sis to help each other through the lost. So I weight in today and was 248.6 so that a lost from 250. So I am happy of meeting my one pound goal. I am doing a 3K on Saturday and then Starting monday I am going to start traing for a 5 K. If anyone comes up with a challage I am all in! Good luck everyone!

    Good Morning Pepper's,
    Well I am at the same weight 197. I was telling you that I gained all that weight and now it is gone I never adjusted my ticker, but last week I was 199 and this week 197 so I know I lost that pound I wanted. hope I can finally move off 197 next week. sick of seeing it. I do feel like I have been loosing pants are fitting better. Need that ticker to move :laugh:

    Jacque so sorry about your grandfather. Congrats on loosing the pound you wanted.

    Started to storm at the ball games, so my bus trip ended up being shortened. I am down 3.4 this week to 191. I really want to get under 190, so that is what I am focusing on this week. I started back on May 28 getting serious again...so in 10 days I hope the inches are lower too. This obsessed feeling with weighing food and logging everything is working...so I guess if I keep at it, it should work, right?

    For the challenge, whoever wants to participate...how about 2-3 servings of fruits and veggies each day, and for exercise, let's add 5 minutes to it each time. good luck everyone!! plan your meals so that you are getting the fruits and veggies in and push yourself for 5 more minutes....you CAN do it!

    just checking in to say hi to you all. thinking of ya and hope you're all having a great weekend! lots of unhealthy food will be on the tables today. eating at my in laws for dinner and at my folks for supper. my plan is to watch portions and keep it as clean as I can and...... get with my treadmill later!! take care team! :heart:

    hi SHGP's! here's to a new week!! we're closing in on the 1st half of 2010! can you believe it? I really want to make the next 6 mos healthier.......one.day.at.a.time. :bigsmile: Gotta keep logging, staying within calories, and EXERCISE!! We got back home too late last nite for me to hit the treadmill.

    banana & orange
    baby carrots, broccoli, peppers
    I am on wk 4 of C25K, which takes me 30 min...I will add 5 on at the end.

    Good Morning Pepper's,
    I did great over week end. Did lots of yard work so got my exercise in. I am feeling so positve that I am loosing again. I dont feel as hungry as I was and I did not over eat at any meal.

    I am still working on exercise (see doctor again on Thursday for my cough), but today will be banana, watermelon, strawberries and apple for fruit, I will have cucumber not sure what I am having for veggies for dinner yet but it will be 2 different ones.

    did my 3K on Saturday, and start my training for 5K today %k will be in August so psych about that. Food wise well did not do as good but heres to a new week

    Hello all! well the kids are out of school so now i have time to be on the computer, trying to find fun things todo as it is the first day without school for them, but it is kinda nasty outside;( anyhow. I am doing good still at same weight getting back to logging everything in and whatnot. still skating:)

    ended up mowing....again. seems like it has been twice a week here lately....between all the rains. boy, when we finally get some sun, it's gonna GROWWWWW! I felt really good today after I finished my C25K.

    Cindy ~ you sound pumped! lovin' that! hope your cough gets better!
    Jacque ~ I want to do a 5K too. Just need to find one locally. we can cheer each other on!! I will probably never be a runner, but a slow jogger.
    Vita ~ hope you have summer-time-fun with your kiddos! when is first derby game? do you travel out of state?

    Even though I had calzone and went over a little on my calories. I still feel great today. Walking faster on my commute I might try doing 10 min walk on lunch if it is not too hot today.

    Kelly you also sound very possitive I am sure the scale will show it. I think I am going to take my measurements tonight before I go to bed. I think I might have lost some inches in places.

    hi team! all is well so far. my best friend is visiting today!!

    cindy ~ I took my measurements on May 28, so this Monday I check them again. It really helps to see the difference...esp if the scale don't budge for us! Pics too!

    food challenge ~ banana & orange.......broccoli, cauliflower, pepper & onion (stir fry)
    exercise challenge ~ 45 min walk/jog + 5

    Kelly my pants have been fitting rather well lately so I am thinking maybe lost an inch. We shall see.

    my fruits today, banana,strawberries, apple and veggies, cucumber, (also a stir fry with yellow and green swash, peppers & onions).

    Today is my DH birthday, mom is baking a cake. I might have a sliver with the family but I will save enough calories.

    Well my DH did not give me a sliver of cake. I ended up only going over 239 which is not too bad. I have been very good all week still hoping for a loss. I was going to measure last night but with the dinner and birthday did not feel up to it.

    Looks like a nice sunny day will try to get another 10 min walk in. I am not logging my exercise because it is so little. But feeling on track.

    Sorry been MIA for a bit ...... spending lots of time with my kids ... swimming , parks ect ect .... also working out to my new leslie sansone walking DVD's (almost up to 5miles) YAY!!!!!!! Weighed in today LW 153 CW 151 loss 2 pounds :bigsmile: Hope everyone is doing good

    afternoon shgp's.....

    looks like tomorrow will be my grocery day. have Dr appt Fri and dh leaves for Canada again. Sat I will be going to a 4-H dog show for my niece and nephew.

    challenges.....fruit : banana & apple, veggies : baby carrots, cauliflower, yellow pepper, exercise : today is C25K W4D2, will be a 30 min session + 5.

    Sorry all I have been sick, down with an infection and in a bad way. I am full of fluid and not eating good. Have not been able to walk much let alone anything else. Once recovered I am back on plan

    :flowerforyou: Feel better jacque, I feel for you I have been sick for a couple of weeks went back to doctors this morning and have a sinus infection now (that would explain the headaches) But put me on antibiotics should get better now. Although not too happy about what his scale said.

    doing good today,
    fruit: banana, strawberries, granny smith apple, Veggies: cucumber (my favorite), will have a garden salad tonight and will have to pick the third veggie with dinner.

    jacque sorry to hear you're sick....get better soon.
    cindy i hate them dang sinus infections. i think our pollen counts have kinda lowered for now. we have had so much rain, but the sun is out today :glasses: hope you're on the mend as well.

    this is my rest day.
    fruit; banana, strawberries
    veggies; salad with pepper, cuke, baby carrot

    you guys wanna keep with the same challenges for another week, or change?
