Water weight?I think!

Tues I weighed 7 pounds less than I did Friday. which means one I had to have over eaten which I know for a fact I didn't or two I had way too much sodium which I know I did. Between Tues and Fri I had two bottles of 40% more yellow mustard by myself ...what can I say I was craving it but won't be buying that again. And then I followed that by having a hidden valley buttermilk ranch pack on Wed and three more on Thurs. Now I've gained another pound and its sat so all together I've put on 7 pounds since Tues. So yeah I'm freaking out. Do y'all think it's just water weight cause to me my feet face and bottom legs look swollen and my stomach has been a little bloated since we'd. Please let me know what y'all think??

Sorry, very hard to decrypt what you're saying there. But yes, it's mostly water weight. And I hope you didn't eat the mustard and buttermilk ranch dressing all by themselves. That's just....odd.0

Perhaps you should stop drinking condiments for meals. Try just using a tablespoon of dressing on stuff it's usually enough.
On the other hand, if you don't weigh yourself right after you get up and pee/poo then your weight isn't going to be accurate. Your weight can fluctuate as much as 5-7 lbs throughout the day depending on many factors.0 -

I always weigh myself first thing in the morning after I use the restroom its just that recently I've been weighing myself every morning when I know I shouldn't because of the fluctuation.Sorry, very hard to decrypt what you're saying there. No I didn't lol I used them on actual food to flavor it. I just kind of went crazybon the mustard because I haven't had it in a while. But I won't be doing that again. Lol0 -

There's nothing wrong with mustard or even ranch dressing on their own. Mustard is actually pretty low calorie when used in the suggested portion sizes. Five grams of mustard is about 5 calories, not bad for the amount of flavor it brings.
I'd suspect the water weight gain wasn't from your choice of condiments but the sodium in the foods you were eating along with them. It's possible you were replenishing your glycogen which holds water as well. Go back to a normal routine, drink sufficient water, and it returns to normal in a few days.

i am glad to say that drinking a ton of water and tea yesterday helped, not all of the water weight but 5 pounds of it fell off from my water intake thank god. not to mention I didn't realize that having a sunburn can contribute to water retention from the swelling also....that was until I looked it up. I am relieved and have finally learned my lesson on weighing myself everyday, unless I want to beat myself up daily for something that I didn't do. Im just sad to say it took me 28 years to realize that. lol But I guess its better late than never!0
