I'm Becca, I've getting back into mfp, would love to have some new friends to help stay motivated. I'm hoping to lose 100 lbs. I do 30 minutes of cardio a day right now but am hoping to increase that soon. And then get started on weight training.

weight loss is 80% diet and 20% exercise. you won't lose any weight if you still eat more calories than you burn. make sure you get a digital food scale and count everything you put into your body. when you need to lose this much weight diet is your #1 priority. Don't eat back your calories that you burn from exercise and don't add them to your daily calorie goal. but if you are hungry after workouts then eat smart and don't go more than 1-200 calories over your daily limit. also, set your exercise level to the lowest level.
you're going to gain weight for a couple weeks after starting new exercise regimens. the body stores more water in the muscles while it adapts to more activity.
