More Evidence that Exercise Directly impacts Weight Loss

Looks like they really, truly found it - "irisin".
Levels elevate with cardio exercise. This is important because irisin controls the creation of brown fat from normal white adipose fat. And that is important because brown fat is fat that actually burns other fat.

More cardio -> more irisin -> more brown fat -> more fat burn for same caloric deficit -> allows larger "safe" deficit for any given calorie intake -> allows faster weight loss for the same level of safety.
