motivation

hi! very new to mfp and would like to hear what has motivated everyone? after not being able to run to catch a flight (luckily was delayed so made it) it made me realise i need to lose this weight now. my goal is to lose 7stone and just need to keep my motivation up

Motivation generally comes from within but hanging around on this site, gathering friends, keeping a food diary, doing the right thing, working to a good plan will all help you stay focused.
I think for me, knowing that i wanted to work out a way to eat that would serve me for the rest of my life and knowing that i was fed up with being fat and knowing I never wanted to be fat again has helped me. I have had a few difficult moments iwht stress but i am committed to my goal and have not wavered from it. I started in beginning 2014, lost all my weight and am in maintenance for about 8 10 months now.
Whatever you plan is, make sure its sustainable.0
