I am considering Purchasing the fitbit charge HR but $150 is A LOT to spend on it. I mainly want because it will monitor my HR and calculate calories burned accordingly. I want accuracy, tired of guessing.
who has this and is it worth it??

thanks in advance

I had the Charge HR for a while and thought it was good as far as the pedometer feature went. The HR part was hit or miss depending on my activity. My resting HR is normally between 48-58 BPM. The Charge HR on more than a few times registered my HR at 80 BPM while I was relaxing and watching TV.... This could have been just a faulty device. I didn't try another one to test it.

Fitbits calculate your TDEE (total daily energy expenditure) and sync with MFP. Fitbit challenges are great motivation—and fun.

I lost the weight & have kept it off thanks to MFP + Fitbit. But you still have to log everything you eat & drink accurately & honestly. Logging works.
