why is there an inconsistency between nutrients, macro and my default setting?

Howdy folks. Well I really feel like a dolt trying to wrap my head around this so maybe someone can help.
I entered a new set of ratios under my Default nutrients profile to read carbs 50% (258g), protein 20% (103 g) and fat 30% (69g). These are not set in stone and will change in two weeks after doing one four week cycle and analysing the metrics vs results. However what's really doing my head in is when I scroll to the Nutrients tab my Goals show different units - carbs 334g, protein 134g, fat 89g. What's up with this? If I understand this maybe it will explain my Iron readings plus other micro nutrients. Shouldn't these numbers - my defaults- be here instead?

Are you logging exercise? That will increase your calorie goal, as well as the macro goals.

If you want to keep those specific number of grams, you could stop logging exercise for now or log it and enter the calories as something like .01 calories - apparently the app/website doesn't interpret the decimal and it becomes 0.

While we are here what is the 100 unit of Iron, Vitamin A etc ? Can that be altered?0

Looks like that's a percentage - the same Daily Value stuff that you see on most grocery items. Doesn't look to me like you can change it to a specific number or anything, though.

Go to
My Home > Settings > Diary Settings > see Food and Exercise Diary Setting to change "Nutrients Tracked."
