Hey everyone, I'm in my first week of my new lifestyle change and I was just wondering what people class as a 'healthy' amount to loose per week? I've lost 4/5 pounds this week and I don't know if that's too much or is normal? I'm not drastically dieting but I've cut a lot of sugar and carbs out and eat a lot more fruit and veg now, and as for exercise I've walked 3 miles for 4 days out of 7

Your first week or two you will usually lose higher amounts due to water weight. After that it will slow down drastically. Depending on how much you have to lose you should aim for 1-2 pounds per week. Personally I lost 10 pounds my first week then one or two after that. Now I'm down to .5-1 per week.0

You will usually lose initial water weight, which will vary depending on how much you have to lose, gender, age, etc. Standardly you will see initial losses of anywhere from 5-10 pounds, then anywhere from .5 to 2 pounds a week, again depending on your stats.0
