How do you identify a increased metabolic rate?

Hi all,
I've recently started more strength training, along with cardio (HIIT and LISS) and reducing the amount of carbs/fat in my diet. I'm hoping my efforts will help get increase my metabolism, but I'm not sure how I'll be able to tell if/when this happens
I apprreciate everyone is different, but wondering how you know if your metabolism is running quicker/slower and what are the signs I could look out for?
Thanks for your help

The only reliable way to determine that would be to subject yourself to periodic metabolic testing to establish a baseline and the measure changes........
It is reasonable, however, to assume that as your body composition changes (ie less fat, more muscle) that your RMR increases but to what extent I can't say.0 -

You can't without lab testing. That's why it's so easy for proponents of different programs to make any claims they want. Given that any effect will be timy at best, Myrecommendation to people is to stop worrying about "metabolism" and focus on staying consistent with their programs.0
