I used to use MFP a year ago and found it helpful. I have started treatment for my disabilities and the results have been fantastic. Even though weight gain is a symptom and by product of my disabilities, I want to still have a healthy head start. I am committed to my health and wellbeing. I am driven and honest about my wellness journey.

The weight gain has been very stressful but it became traumatic when I had a couple family members treat me terribly because of my weight. Most of my family are East Asian and the weight standards there are far more crazier and ridiculous than American standards. My family have a difficult time accepting my disabilities and most of them have not been supportive.

I have had my disabilities since birth and it hasn't been easy. I experience various kinds of discrimination. I've had "friends" abandoned me because of my disabilities and unfortunate life circumstances. All the pain and loss I experienced in my life is just more motivation for me to have a better life. I can't control the actions and thoughts of other people but I can focus on what I can do and how I handle a situation.

I have various interests and I plan on picking up a few hobbies after my treatment. I hope to start a program to help transitional aged youth who have gone through traumatic circumstances in a couple of years. I love Korean and Japanese street fashion. I hope to be able to finally fit into the smaller sizes they have. I plan on taking some circus performing classes like fire hula hooping. I am interested in anything D.I.Y (gardening, cooking, woodworking, etc...). I am a vegetarian who plans on becoming a vegan. I love animals very much and would like some MFP friends who share this interest. You don't have to be a vegetarian or vegan to friend me though.

If any of this sounds interesting, then feel free to message or add me as a friend. I only ask for you to please be courteous, polite, and positive. Thanks for reading.
