It's happening

i wasn't sure where to put this, so I figured I would put it in the support section. I have struggled with an eating disorder most my life. For the past 2 years I have been recovering and now that I have gained weight I am trying to lose weight the healthy way, but I have noticed I have started reverting to my old ways. I have to make sure I get in at least 1200 calories, and I know I should eat more because I am running 10 miles 6 days a week. It's happening all over again. I noticed I am obsessively working out and eating the bare minimum. Some days will be better than others. I am starting to get that depressed feeling that is associated with starving yourself. Once I am in that depressed state, I feel like it's all downhill from there. I really don't want to revert to my old ways, but I don't know how to change my thinking process. I'm the kind of person that is either all in or nothing at all. I have been to counseling and therapy and nothing seems to help. I am just looking for a little motivation, maybe some friends on here to look at my diary and maybe motivate me to eat more or something idk. I'm sorry if this is too deep, I know people have their own problems to worry about, but if anyone is willing to friend me and help me it would be greatly appreciated!

Always eat enough.. If it's clean.. Don't worry about adding fat.. Do you own a calorie tracker.? I use to go through the same thing when I would bulk up and then do a cut. I figured eating less calories would get rid of the fat but in turn it would use my muscles for energy. I went all out with weight training and doing constant cardio while thinking I ate enough but turns out I was going no where but becoming unhealthy skinny. I bought a Fitbit and it truly has help put on lean muscle while cutting fat away at the same time. If I become deficient, it is very little like 250 calories.. If I exceed that, I make sure to surplus the excess calories the next day. With all the physical activity you are doing, I highly recommend the Fitbit charge HR and make sure you sync the two together. This will ensure you are getting the calories in for the calories you burned. Then you can go slightly deficient or surplus based on your goal at that given time. DM, I'd be happy to help0

Hi! I'm sorry to hear that you're struggling with that. I've struggled with eating disorders all of my life, ranging from anorexic to bulimic tendencies. Recently, my battle has been binging but in an effort to avoid bulimia, I haven't tried to make up for my binges. Obviously, this has resulted in weight gain and feelings of helplessness.0

this! dont be afraid to have calories, you owe it to your body for putting it through all that work. A lot of people go on crazy low calories hoping to shed the fat thr quickest way, but its not how fast you lose it its how you lose it in the healthiest way. You dont want to go on a diet your whole life! lifes too short for that. I too have a binge eating disorder, funny thing is I just found out its a disorder the way im eating. add me, Id like to help any way i can!0
