Fitness and ... Soylent!

So I'm going to give Soylent a go. I do like food but I often just need to get a meal in because I get caught up in whatever it is I'm doing. Plus I don't eat that healthy, so I figure complete daily nutrition was a bonus. I used to be 165lbs, now 190lbs. My goal is to get back to 170lbs within the next year, maybe even by January. I have a very sedentary job and have friends and family that run the range of fitness in their older age so I've seen the results of different lifestyles. One friend is 65 years old and is super fit - I figure I should be that fit too, especially at 40! So now I'm making the effort to exercise regularly, eat with control, and watch my calorie intake.
