Packaged lettuce- do you wash it ?

Do you wash lettuce that is packaged? I know it says prewashed but I have always washed it anyway. But it is so annoying to dry it so I am wondering what most of you do ?

    Honestly, I don't. If it says pre washed , I just eat it. I'm too lazy to rewash things

    I always wash my lettuce whether packaged or not. There have been so many reports of lettuce and other veg being washed in contaminated water I feel it's worth the effort to make sure it's okay.

    When I bought the bags, I didn't wash it.

    I wash and spin my lettuce, though.

    Yes. I was all vegetables that will be eaten without cooking.

    If it says pre-washed, I don't. If I die from eating un-washed pre-washed lettuce then so be it.

    I always wash all my produce. I have a lettuce spinner for drying lettuce.
