I am curious if I should be logging my excersize into MFP when I am wearing my fitbit all day and it logs my steps at the end of each day? Is this double dipping and gaining EXTRA calories or is what I am doing correct?

Thought???

Thanks so much,
Amanda

It automatically adjusts your exercise calories when you add your exercise. You can take a look at my diary. Also adding you as a friend.

Ok.... so if u don't log exercise then my step calorie will be higher? That makes sense and is very smart!

No need to log any step-based activity—your Fitbit is tracking it for you. Log non-step exercise (like swimming or biking) either in Fitbit or in MFP—never both. Exercise logged in MFP overwrites your Fitbit burn during that time.
