I've been really interested in it but I don't know anyone that has tried it. Im curious to know if anyone has used the service and continued to lose weight?

I have a friend that is using it and raves about it. She isn't trying to lose weight as she's already fit, but her husband has been losing weight and she is maintaining. They have busy lives and she's never been much of a cook. She says they've tried new things and it's helping her learn to prepare more meals at home, and that of the meals have been good.

Are you planning to pay for your prepped meals for life? If not, then you're not really learning much on prepping your own.
I be thrilled if I could afford a chef to make all our meals at home. For me, I learned from my mom and MIL on how to cook, but learned portioning by weighing ingredients.

Blue Apron is a great Master Cooking Class. :)

We've been using it for months, and we've cooked lots of new dishes and veggies that we've never even heard of before.
The meals are typically between 600-700 calories (use recipe importer and add olive oil for the correct macros).
All the meals come out 'restaurant quality'. We've made a lot of our favorites several times over on our own.

A plus for me about BA is that its taught me that veggies can be tasty. I've always thought vegetables were healthy and necessary, but never the highlight of the meal.

I have a friend who's using it- She is a terrible cook. It is helping her with new ideas on how things can be combined to make different foods.

However, I could buy the ingredients at the store for less than a third of the cost. She gets three meals that serve three people each for $100- $11.11 per person!! Insanely expensive for home cooked meals.

You're really paying for the presentation and delivery. After you you get a nice collection of the recipes you can just make them with your own ingredients.

I haven't paid anyone to shop for me, but I do prepare meals at home. They taste good and are healthy. :)
