Question about weighing food

This may be a completely stupid question, but I have never been great with the science.
Do food weights change if they are fresh or frozen? For example, if I weigh a frozen chicken breast or piece of frozen bread will the weight change once the item is thawed out?
I am trying to be more strict about weighing my foods and as I was weighing items this morning, it got me thinking because I was weighing some things in a frozen state.
Thanks!

Yes they change, the bread by very little but chicken breasts are a huge difference on my scales.0

Yes, the weight will be different because of the water. Some people weigh their foods frozen, some thawed. Some weigh meat frozen & some cooked. Just choose a method that's easiest for you & stick with it. I weigh my food after its been cooked because it's easier for me to do it that way.0
