Hi, new to forum so thanks for listening. Am in process of weight gain program which basically consists of all high kj food, good and bad. My previous daily intake average 5 to 6k Kj now averaging 12k per day easily.. Is this ok to do (includes drinking Extreme Body Mass). I am 45yo F . 42 kilo with a goal for 52 fast, 163 cm tall (if that matters)!!! Would appreciate any feedback

    Nope, Kj. Op was talking in Kj the entire post.
    12 K Kj is about 2800 Kcalories (or calories, since apparently in the US the K gets dropped).

    OP, that seems like a pretty high surplus. Is there a reason you doing this rather than a slow and steady aproach?
    The risk is that just like crash dieting, you don't learn a sustainable eating pattern and at the end might end up losing all your gained weight if you revert to your original eating pattern...

    Have you calculated your TDEE? Try one of the online calculators - this will tell you where your maintenance calorie intake should be. Then in order to gain weight, you need to eat in excess of this. A recommended surplus for steady weight gain would be around 250kcal per day.
