Question for lifters about the hack squat machine...

Used the hack squat machine today but nobody at my gym could answer my question. This machine has a bar that is attached to the shoulder pad harness thing that you put the weight plates on but no one could tell me how much that the shoulder pads and bar itself ways so I have no idea how much I squated with it. Someone told me he thought it was about 50 lbs but he also said he was guessing. Do any of you have an estimate about how much it weighs? I actually found these squats to be a bit harder than doing squats in the rack.

Just do regular barbell squats0

Already do those. These were suggested to me in place of doing barbell lunges because I have such a hard time with lunges.0 -
Find the model number and go to the manufacturer's site. Most are good about posting sled weight.0

Good idea! I had checked online but all I could find was info on how to do them but never info about the machine itself. I will check with the company itself. Thank you!!0
