I've found swimming and water aerobics is best for my age and weight (lost 28 lbs) and have 95 or so to go. It's way easier on the joints, and fun. The water aerobics is fun in that the other gals and guys in the class are fun to talk to while we're being guided through a variety of excercises; the swimming, for me, is relaxing.

This is not my first time on MFP.... and I can tell you, without any reservation, that the support and friendship you will gain on this page can help you have a successful journey. The last time I was on here, I lost 45 pounds. Unfortunately, they found their way back home due to life and stress.
This time, well, I'm out to kill those extra pounds. If they are dead and buried, they cannot come back. I want to lose 85-90 pounds in total. But, I have it broken up into 3 mini-goals.
Developing a strong support group through MFP is amazing. I think you'll really like it and find it encouraging. I'll send you a friend request. We can be each other's cheerleader and support during this journey.
And, welcome to MFP!0 -
Thank you, for your support, overeating is like being addicted, you have to own up to the fact that you put that food down your throat and its up to you to lose the fat, but having friends on the same journey really helps

Going well, the gym is really good at getting me out and about, weigh in night is on Monday, so we will see if all the effort has been worth it, also got hubby to take photos of me and will take some every week to see how much weight is lost as a pictorial archive.0
