Back Injuries and TOS

Hey guys! I'm looking for people with similar issues as myself or people familiar with these issues. I'm hoping we can empathize with each other and motivate or even exchange tips. I'm suffering from 2 herniated discs in my lumbar, one of which has a fissure, and facet disease in both. I also have TOS due to bilateral cervical ribs. Fitness has been rough but I'm trying my best. I'd love to hear success stories of people in a similar situation!

I've got some serious back problems that led to my gaining fifty pounds. A herniated disc at c2, one in the lumbar region, and profound levorotary scoliosis of both the thoracic and lumbar spine. This all really shows me down.
I am down to 222 from 270, it's taken nine months. My goal is to get to 180 and reassess.
Mostly what's helped me is my Labrador retriever. He encourages me to take 2-3 walks of 30+ minutes every day, and longer hikes on the weekends. It was slow building up to this level;both in account of my back and lupus. I found walking on a nature path made it a lot easier, the ground is springier than asphalt.0
