Calorie calculation on MFP

Can anyone tell me if the calorie calculations for various excercises on MFP are net or gross. In other words, do they deduct your resting metabolic rate or not?
Thanks

I!ve just been searching on Mfp for esxactly this!
The conclusion I have come to is that Mfp cals burned are generally thought to be too high, so i
pull back. It could be because they overestimate the gross or fail to think about the net - or both!
Like others I adjust - I subtract resting cals burned, another common ruse is to only eat back 75 per cent.
I don't often bother with posting gentle exercise either eg the hour of intermittent walking in my daily commute - and I put in sedentary as my activity level.0 -
Thanks, I came to similar conclusion. I'll reduce the calorie burn by about 100-150 per hour of exercise and that should be about right.
