I am on my way to losing my weight

I am in the same boat as many of you..I start a "diet" every month. I am on a new one with carb reduction and I am on day 4 and it is hard but I feel it everywhere, especially my stomach area so if you can stick to it, it is worth it.
I also have cut out all red meat my diet and that was super easy.
I am married for 15 years, 2 kids (girls 13 and 17 - no, I haven't sold them yet, hahaha) and have a black lab and cats we rescued from the SPCA.
If you need support or someone to vent to, I am here. I totally understand. I have been yo-yoing for the last 10 years - all the way down to 140 pounds to 270 pounds...I am now 248 but I have a long way to go still but I feel more motivated now than ever.
Good luck and keep positive,
Tammy

Feel free to send me a friend request! We're at completely different points of our life (I'm in my third year of college and am 20 years old) but I feel that we could motivate each other! We've got this!0

people re always overcomplicating thing. it comes down to lifestyle change eat less calories than you burn off its as simple as that. adjust your diet so you meet that goal0

Hi there! You're obviously very determined--that's wonderful! But, I happen to agree with the statement made by beefcake_4000. I don't necessarily think anyone should cut out a whole food group to lose weight. It's not very sustainable or good for your body, unless there is an allergy or disease that prevents eating certain food groups, of course. Deciding to live your life in a different, healthier way than before, is a much better method of losing pounds and becoming healthy. Props for beginning your journey again!0
