So, what if you're losing weight, but not much in the way of inches?

I've lost almost 30 pounds so far (with about 40 to go), but despite cardio and strength training (albeit not tons of strength training), I've only lost about 1.5 inches off my waist. It seems like others are losing inches faster than weight (muscle building, I guess)- does anyone else, like myself, have the opposite challenge? Can we expect that to change?

If you are only measuring inches in 1 part of your body, that's the problem. Different people lose weight from different areas at different points. If you are losing weight, you will eventually see fat drop from all over. You can't lose inches faster than weight. They are two different types of measurements and can't really be compared directly to each other.0

Hm. Thanks, Vismal. That seems to make sense.0
