Started taking a ballet technique class 2 years ago at beginners level.put on way too much muscle and continued to eat pretty bad.want to slim and lengthen my figure. Have tried Pilates and yoga class at the YMCA gym. I look butch...help!

  • For ballet I don't really think you can have too much muscle! You have to be incredibly strong to dance. Love your muscles. They will look leaner after you lose fat.

    Are you eating at a deficit? That will help the most. Side note: Yay for ballet <---- ballerina

    Yeah, my pole fitness class has me looking a little buffer than I want to look... But I know it's becuase I still have at least 15 pds of fat to lose off my upper body (I know I can't spot reduce)...so I have to continue my cardio and work it out! The fat is making us look a little bulky. Just lose the fat.
