Why do my calorie requirements go up?

If I am trying to lose fat, why do my calorific intake requirements increase after entering a cardio exercise?
If I have burned calories it makes no sense to me that I have to eat more.

Because MFP has already allowed for a deficit in your plan so more burned means you should eat a little more0

MFP gives you your goal without exercise factored in. To keep that goal constant and fuel your body, you're expected to eat those calories back, though most will only do 50% to account for overestimation of calories burned.0
