Mine is lamb kebabs, lamb and pitta on the bbq, then add salad and tzatiki. But the rest of my camping food is always the usual fattening burgers and sausages ect. Would love some new ideas please.

We eat a lot of cous cous, and have a basket for the BBQ so can roast veggies in that and mix them with the cous cous with BBQ chicken (we BBQ with Zatar or Peri Peri) We also do a lot of salad, with sausages etc. We often don't have 'carbs' but if we do its often just easy stuff like bread to go with it.
A trick i learned is to take something out of the freezer for the first night (eg a curry, chili etc) so you have something to eat for night one - its usually defrosted in time. You can do this for 2 nights and use the frozen meals as kind of fridge boxes.
the packet rice you get that needs 2 mins in the microwave can also be warmed up / stir fry in a pan. This was a helpful revelation!0 -
Thanks Mags, like the rice idea, and the veg idea. I'm going to give that a go this weekend!0
