So now that the Summer and hot weather is here, the pools are open!! Great, I love going to the pool and so does my 3 year old daughter. My problem is that I don't know how to accurately count this. I don't swim laps and I don't tread water the whole time. I spend anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours in the pool with her at least 2-3 times a week. I do tread sometimes while she is flopping around. I also jump around and pull my daughter around the pool. If I select Swimming-treading- moderate effort from the database based on my weight it says for 60 minutes I burn approx. 400. This just doesn't seem right to me. And maybe that is because in the water everything seems so effortless.
Any thoughts on this??
