I've been operating under the assumption it's somewhere around 162ish grams. (Yes I need to purchase a scale.)
eg 1/2 of something like this

Looking at the picture and taking the average radius of a lemon I'd say it weights 1/3 as much as a Coho in season and caught in the upper half of British Colombia in August.0

Thank you, @jgnatca ! Ok, I don't have it front of me, will do in like 5 mins - but estimating based on what it usually is, viz a viz my hand, I'm going to call it at 8.5ish" L x 3ish"W x 1/2-3/4 inch H". Sorry I can't be more helpful than that
I have worried over this many times (and googled) but never sought to confirm it with our MFP public. Or a scale. I really need to get a scale0 -
(it's like a regular mackerel like you'd see in a restaurant?) smh sorry lol0

Diabetics are taught that a single serving of protein should be about the size of a "deck of cards" or the palm of your hand, which is 3.5" long, 2.25" wide, and about a half inch thick. So your mackerel is about 2 and a half times a single serving.0

The mackerel on nutritiondata must be super skinny. It only comes out to 88g. A half cup of tofu which would be a similar serving size I would think and similar density, is 128g.0
