Hello, I am new to MFP and am enjoying the app so far. My goal is to learn better eating habits, becoming more active so I can become healthier. I would like to lose some weight during this transition, however, my goal is more towards toning, and being healthier for my family and myself! I work better when I'm being held accountable and am being motivated.

I think those are great ways to get started. I like the Harvard plate a lot more than the current MyPlate thing. It's simple like My Plate, but is a little more clear.
Take it slow if slow is easier. Work on incorporating a little more water and a few more veggies if revamping your whole diet seems overwhelming. It's a lot to take on!
