What are all the acronyms I see running around some I know some I don't like BMR..what is that?

    Base Metabolic Rate, how many calories you burn just to stay alive basically!.

    Basal Metabolic Rate. The amount of calories you currently burn in a day just sitting down doing nothing essentially.
