Are the forums getting stupider?

The forums are as usual flooded with newcomers and their crazy ideas, but the broscience has hardened lately, and there are more preemptive reservation, while the veterans are busy fighting eachother; when they did reply, they were often called mean, rude and negative, so I can understand if they got fed up. Threads I've participated in are suddenly removed without notice - that's nothing new, just adding to the uneasy feeling. I don't like where MFP seems to be going. I've only been here for 1 1/2 years, can I hope these are just seasonal changes?

Not understanding the point of the OP's post anyway, seems like trolling to me, if you are wanting intelligence then go to a science forum not a 'chit-chat, FUN and games' section of a fitness forum lol

There were no other places to put this. It's not fun, though. I could say it isn't trolling, but it's up to you what you want to believe, so I shouldn't even bother.

Thanks for replies, everyone. I feel the forums have lightened up a bit today, and I'm happy again.
