Anyone know a supermarket (in UK) that sells Tofu?

All I see is quorn in the supermarkets and I don't like that as would prefer to infuse my flavours into basic Tofu.

Sainsbury's and Tesco do, not sure about the others. Have you checked their websites?0

Sainsbury's sells it. I'm sure all the other supermarkets do too.
Perhaps Holland & Barrett sell it too?0 -
Thanks for that. I usually go to Aldi, Morrisons or Waitrose and none of them stock Tofu but I have a Sainsbury's not too far away so will go there.0

Don't they all...? O_o"0

Nope0

Had you asked in store? Last time I went to Waitrose, they had about 10 varieties! Sometimes found in the 'foreign foods' aisle, just to confuse us0

I'm pretty sure they have it in my local Waitrose0 -
I've seen it in Waitrose, Sainsburys and Tesco. Are you looking in a large supermarket or a smaller corner-shop-type branch?0
-
I've bought it from Morrison's as that's all we had near my uni. They should have it, aldi don't sell it but if you're still having no luck Sainsburys is a definite!0

I get it at Holland and barrett. Also try there meat free prawns. Yummy!0

Asda usually by the bagged pulses and tins of veg.0

Oooh meat free prawns? Need a H and B shop!0

My local Morrisons sells Tofu, its in the same place as the refrigerated quern stuff (not frozen quorn).0
-
Oh Lordy I am a complete numpty - I've been looking in the frozen food!0

Your local chinese supermarket often has fresh tofu.0

I think tofu in Waitrose is with the falafels?0

well I was a bit late and you got loads of advice on which supermarkets stock it anyway. Most cities have at least one chinese wholesaler who supplies the local restaurants and takeaways. The tofu is likely to be fresher and cheaper. Sorry I see you are in a village. H&Bs are everywhere, but I find them quite expensive.
Have a look at your local healthshop/ orhanisc foods as well.
No idea if you just want a small amount in which case supermarkets will be hard to beat for convenience.

Is always a good site to compare which suopermarket sells what. If you are travelling especially for it then maybe ring up and check the branch you are going to has it.
If you are a bit more serious about your tofu there are online suppliers.0 -
Thank you everyone0
