Hello Team!

I am a 52 year old woman, married with a grown up son and a dog. I make and design handmade cufflinks, although until I make my first million, I will continue to work as a director for my husband's marketing company!

I want to lose 3 stones (42 pounds) but I have an awful habit of losing a few pounds before reaching a plateau. I then become disheartened and fall off the wagon, and so it continues.

I've been using MFP for the past six months or so but I could be a lot better. Here's my weekly schedule (for the last 4 weeks):

30 minutes of Yoga 6 mornings a week followed by
15 - 30 minutes of aerobics
60 minutes of Zumba 2 times a week
30 minutes of dog walking 3 or 4 times a week

To be honest, I've only been doing my share of the dog walking this past week!

I would love to lose 1 or 2 pounds a week. My next target is an upcoming week-long trip to Barcelona next Month and I want to have lost 10 pounds by then.

I have joined this community to give and receive support.

Go Team! :-)

    Hi and welcome :)

Your work out schedule seems really good, well done - what I will say is, incorporate weight based exercises if you can. This can really help break a plateau and I think you'll be really impressed with the results :)

Other than that, keep doing exactly as you are doing, track your food and enjoy it! You're doggy is going to be very happy in particular ;)

    Best of luck
