Frustration!

I am beyond frustrated and disappointed in myself. I made a commitment to myself to focus on me; to exercise and eat right. I have failed. I work full time and recently started college too. I know there's no such things as excuses, I know I just need to manage my time better. If anyone has any advice, I would greatly appreciate it.

You've taken on a heck of a lot all at once--new school, new life style. Give yourself some love and some time. Your new schedule is going to be crazy for at few weeks, but it will start to feel "normal" after at while.
Maybe pick yourself up a few Clif of Lara Bars for brekky and/or lunch, and make a nice low cal casserole or crock pot this weekend that you can portion out and have waiting for you when get home from your cray - cray day.
Be nice to yourself!0 -
"No such thing as excuses" is stress-generating BS that other people have laid on you over your lifetime to get you to do stuff for them on their time-table. Don't put that on yourself. There will be times that things do not go as planned for reasons that were not under your control and could not have been anticipated.
"I just need to manage my time better". For most people, this translates to shorting sleep to spend more time doing things other people expect of them. I suggest the inverse--protect your sleep as your number one priority. Without it, you can't do all the other things you need to get done--and sleep deprivation correlates with weight gain as well.
A Franklin Planner system or something similar is helpful, but only if you use the time-management methods that go with them--they sell books but you can probably get them at the library.0 -
OMG You have got a lot on your plate! so please dont blame yourself too harshly. If you can in the weekends make a big batch of meals (I've seen on you tube) to freeze in containers so you're not worried about food and cooking during the week. Also put your alarm on for 30mins exercise at whatever time suits, that is if you have any spare time do you?0

Tackle one thing at a time. In the beginning I used this: http://www.kikki-k.com/weekly-habits-pad-inspiration-2014 to help me prioritize what I wanted to do. It was things like drinking water water, no alcohol, adding more vegies, exercising a certain number of times, logging my food, taking my lunch to work etc. And I gradually built it all into my schedule.
It does become second nature in a way. When I started losing weight (before MFP) I was working full time and doing grad school and buying a house. I still home cooked our meals (slow cooker/crock pot is a life saver), took my lunch every day to work and went to the gym 5 times a week. And I still slept. These days I still work full time, I have a second casual job, I'm planning our wedding and supporting my fiance while he works full time and does grad school. I still work out six days a week and eat healthy food. It's not easy but I still sleep 7 hours a night. I'm very organised! Every week I have a meal plan, a gym plan etc. I picked a gym close to my work, I cook in bulk etc. So, it's possible. You just need to figure out a way to do it and do it gradually.0
