anyone NOT using a digital scale?

I have kind of an old school scale and so I can not tell oz and it is even kind of hard to tell a diff between a pond oor 2 with the needle. Just wondering if I am being too picky or if others are using the same as me? Im reluctant to get a digital scale as I know it will not be the same as the one I am using now so not sure how I would deal with new #'s in mfp-would I be starting over?

I have an old fashioned scale... and I kinda like not fretting over the small oz changes.

I used to use a "regular" scale however I found it to be inaccurate. Every time I stepped off it never zeroed. Also when I stepped on it I would get a different reading.

I prefer digital and find it more accurate.

And a scale is a scale. I'm not sure how or why your weight would be different on a regular one vs. digital.

I use a good old fashioned, decent quality, analog scale - and I use it infrequently.

I see people on the forums obsessing over .25 or a lb or less (as if a home scale could really even be that accurate). Definitely not for me despite the fact my wife tells me I'm a nerd obsessed with analyzing data.......

I use an old fashioned scale too. Sometimes I would like to see those .? lost but for the most part I really don't need to be that picky. As long as the scale keeps going down I"m happy!!!

I think that the doctors scales are purposely set higher to make us crazy. Just my opinion

I was using an old non digital scale until last week, I switched only because the numbers are small and I had trouble reading them (even with my glasses on) and I didn't love that I would have a different weight every time even 2 secs later, or even leaning forward or back lol

I don't care that much about the numbers but if I am going to weight myself I would like to know I could step off it and right back on and it would be the same.

But mostly it was too difficult to read lol really tiny numbers and my nearsightedness makes thin black writing on a white background hard to read :P And I am barely nearsighted! (-0.75 and -1.00)

my weight did change by about 2 lbs from what I was going with on my old scale but that is ok :) I just logged it and don't worry about it :)

I have an old fashioned scale too (not digital, I mean). I have to get my husband to read what it says whilst I stand on it as I can't work out where each pound is (for weigh day). I weigh every day but my weigh day is friday - every other day I weigh I can kinda see if there's movement or not but I couldn't tell you if it was 1 pound, 2 pound, 3 etc.

An old fashioned scale might not need to reset to zero

You should try to calibrate it... put a 10lb weight on it and make sure it reads 10lbs or adjust accordingly (also make sure it's on a level surface) that's about as accurate as you can get without going digital
