Nut free alternatives

So I'm about to join a fitness challenge, which recommends often eating say 14 almonds. I'm peanut/almond/walnut intolerant and avoid all tree nuts on principle. I'm also not in a place where it's easy to obtain alternative butters and dairy is difficult to get and expensive (China).
Are any of you miserably creative in terms of nut and allergy friendly alternatives for when it calls for eating a nut(free) butter and a certain number of say almonds?

Many recipes that call for nuts, I substitute raisins or other dried fruits. For crusts or toppings, I might substitute crackers, oats, those little, hard La Choy noodle things (whatever they're called) and/or some more flour. If the nuts are the main ingredient or if something else is playing off the nuts, I just skip it.0

Roasted soy beans or chic peas or any beans are somewhat similar to nuts.
Butters? Hummus is made from tahini (sesame seeds and chic peas)0
