I saw this quote this morning and thought it may help some people when they are tempted to eat something that is "crappy" to them. A crappy food to me would be a trigger food.

It really is. Nothing worse than anticipating going out for a good meal and having terrible food.

He's so funny. He said that when he had his heart attack, he was in the ER thinking about the Burger King he'd eaten that day, lol. As if the one day was the reason the reason for the heart attack and not the lifetime of eating crappy food.

People who sing the praises of junk food ALWAYS change their minds after the heart attack. Some stick with the program and some slide back into their old ways, but they all change their minds about crappy food in the hospital, lol. When the pain and fear is still fresh in their minds, they're all about eating better.

Drew seems to have stuck with the program. That's what he says, anyway. Good for him. His routines on food were hilarious before and after the heart attack. He's one of those comedians - like Eddie Izzard - that almost always make me laugh. :)

I'm a grown up, and I still think McDonalds is wonderful. All my friends laugh and turn up their noses and act like anyone who would eat a Big Mac is some sort of uneducated, unwashed redneck, but you know what? That stuff is engineered to be delicious, and by gum, it is.

Of course, When I do partake, I don't eat so much of it that I feel gross for the rest of the day. Some people will eat a McMeal, then have stomach discomfort and general grossiness afterwards, but it's just food, although with a slightly higher fat content than many home cooked meals. Overeating anything will make you feel bad.

McDonalds food is as mass produced as it gets, but it still starts with relatively quality materials, prepared in a relatively clean environment, despite what any McNaysayers will tell you.

Now, my local burger king franchise looks like it's from the 80s, which was the last time it appears to have been cleaned.
