I just purchased a NutriBullet to increase my veggie and fruit intake. I was doing some searching online and some sites say do not mix them together they can mess with your stomach, is this true and would any members who do smoothies for breakfast please share recipes so I can get some ideas.

Thanks

I've been drinking green smoothies for years with fruit and haven't had a problem, maybe they just bothered the person that posted that online.
This is usually what is in mine:
    85g spinach
    15g kale
frozen fruit, around 70-85g, today it was strawberries
1/2 large apple, usually around 100g
    1 tbs chia seeds
    100g cucumber
I use water as the base, but you can use coconut water or green tea. Some like milk or yogurt in their smoothies, but it's just a personal preference of mine to not use that.

    1 cup spinach
    1 banana
    1/2 cup non-milk
    1/4 cup non-fat yogurt
    1 cup frozen blueberries
1 TBS protein powder (I like VegaOne)

I have a Vitamix, so you may need to reduce the proportions in order to fit this all in your bullet.

I have a smoothie everyday for lunch. My diary is open if you want to have a look.

It is fine to mix fruit and veggies.
My smoothies usually go something like this: 8 oz soy milk, protein powder, one fruit, about 300 grams romaine lettuce or a similar leafy green, a little cinnamon.

Hmmm... I don't see how mixing fruit and vegetables would mess with your stomach, except for a bit of gas. Some protein powders make me feel a little uncomfortable.

In general, my morning smoothie of greens and frozen fruit makes me feel pretty darn good.
