Hi everyone, my name is Debbie. I am 61 years old but I am convinced I am not too old to lose weight. Are there any other seniors out there who have had success with My Fitness Pal? Would love to hear from you. Also, would love to have some recipes to try. We eat a lot of ground beef, chicken and lean pork. Some fish but I'm not a huge fish eater. All suggestions and support are welcome!

Hi Debbie, i'm 58 and have lost 2 stone 2lbs since June of last year. It can be done. As long as you realise that it's going to take quite a while (depending on how much you want to lose, obviously!). I cut out bread completely, don't use butter and eat mainly chicken, ham or fish with either salads or vegetables. It sounds very boring, I know, but it works for me. As long as you stick to the calories given to you by mfp, you should be able to do it. Good luck!0
